Step 1 - How to apply

The Paperwork

To proceed with your application you must complete all ORM documentation provided in the links below.  All our forms are in PDF format and require Adobe reader to access them. You can download the adobe software if your computer does not already have it.

If you are still having difficulty for whatever reason, please contact our support team or call us on 01 2190268, we are delighted to be of assistance.

1) The Volunteer Application Form

This form comes in 5 sections. The first section is the general application form, please fill this in and return it to us at your earliest convenience. It is advisable to make and keep a copy for your own personal files.

Section 2 of this form is an appendix which outlines the available dates for volunteering in 2012, which you keep.

Section 3 is an appendix that you must detach and bring to your doctor for completion. It outlines the vaccinations required for travel to Moldova and a certificate of medical wellness to travel. Once this is complete, the doctor will return this form to you and we recommend that you keep a copy for your files. The original form completed by your doctor must be posted back to us for your file in our Dublin Office.

Section 4 is the volunteer agreement and release form. This is an agreement form for all volunteers. Please read this form completely and when you are satisfied with all points, please sign and date it and return to the ORM Dublin Office at your earliest convenience so we may add it to your personal file. We recommend that you keep a copy for your own personal files.

Section 5 is the garda vetting form. Please print out a copy of this form, complete it and return to the Dublin ORM office at your earliest convenience with a copy of a form of photographic ID (your passport, your birth cert or your driving license). This authorises ORM to apply for Garda (Police) clearance of that particular person to work in the capacity of childcare in Moldova with ORM. We apply for this clearance for you and it can take up to 8 weeks, so it is important that you fill it in and return it to the ORM Dublin office as soon as possible.

All information provided is confidential to ORM and will not be shared with third parties.

2) ORM Child Protection Guidelines and Policies

Please print out a copy of our Child Protection Guidelines and Policies and study carefully. These guidelines are in place to protect the wellbeing and safety of the children and young adults we work with. Their safety and wellbeing are of utmost importance to us and volunteers wishing to travel to Moldova must  be familiar with and adhere to all policies.

If you need assistance completing any of the above forms, please contact us for assistance or ring us on 01 2190268.
