As an ORM volunteer you will give a lot in terms of energy and skill, but you will also gain so much too. Volunteers working with charities worldwide are very unique in that they recognise the very real need for assistance and are willing to stand up and be part of the global team to address that need. It is a great way to give back to others.
You give of yourself, you give your time, you give your skills, you give your knowledge and you give your talents. The resounding response from volunteers in Ireland and those returning from projects abroad is that you get back ten-fold what you put into it.
Before you apply you must ask yourself the following questions:
1) Are you aged between 18 - 70?
2) Do you live in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland?
3) Are you in relatively good health?
4) Are you available to work oversea's for a minimum period of 10 days?
5) Will you be able to live and work with new people?
