Volunteering in Moldova
We run a volunteer programme that brings Irish people from
all walks of life to work with us out in the orphanage. Over the past 4 years
we have had 600 volunteers travel to Moldova to provide the children with much
needed love and attention. The work they do is truly inspiring and the children
return this affection with great trust and enthusiasm.
If you want to become a volunteer there are certain criteria that you must
fulfil:
a) Be 18 years or over at time of application
b) Be willing to travel for a minimum period of 2 weeks
c) Fill in application form
d) Attend for interview and orientation
e) Fundraise
f) Have all vaccinations and medical checks in place before travelling
Past volunteers have ranged from Medical Doctors, Nurses, Therapists,
Craftsmen, Teachers, Mums and Dads, 3rd Level students etc. The list is
endless. Many of whom travel out time and again to work with the children.
To see photo's of the volunteers please see

Volunteering In Ireland
While all our work is based in Moldova there are many people who are unable to
travel due to family and work commitments. But there is much that can be done
from home; we need people to help us in Ireland to fundraise around the country
to keep all the projects running . We do everything from bag packing, to coffee
mornings, sponsored walks, dinners etc. We will put you in contact with people
from your area to organise events.
Schools can also get involved with dress down days, sponsored walks, sponsoring
children etc.
For more information on how you can help please see our event guide contact us
