Annmarie Burke's Amazing Journey for the Kids
It never ceases to amaze us how generous people are and what people will do for others.
Annmarie Burke and 30 of her friends decided to run a fundraiser for ORM and chose something just a little bit different! They decided to box for the kids!!
None of them were professional fighters and the majority had never boxed in their lives but they all signed up to white collar boxing to raise funds for the children ORM cares for. And what a result!!!
One of the most successful, and indeed novel, fundraising events ORM has ever seen run by a volunteer. Together with all her gladiator friends after months of training, the big night arrived and they raised a whopping 12,400 euro for ORM!
Just Amazing! What a result.
Annemarie will be travelling to Moldova as a child care volunteer this summer.
