The Atlas Mountains located in Morocco are the back drop to a fantastic trekking challenge. Join the trek through this magnificent mountain range in order to summit its highest peak - Mt Toubkal (4,167m) - the highest point in North Africa!
 
Trekking for 3 consecutive days, you will experience stunning scenery, breathtaking views across north Africa, and the warmness and friendliness of locals during your short challenge. Life has changed very little for the Berber people of this region and you'll be lucky enough to witness first hand their culture and lifestyle as you discover the real Morocco.
 
Popular with businesses, Morocco Mount Toubkal Trek is a fantastic long weekend challenge and is ideal for those who cannot take a full week off work or away from the family home. It's the perfect challenge too for those who are new to fundraising (due to lower fundraising commitment) and the world of challenge events. But be rest assured, if you are a regular on the charity event circuit this challenge should not be underrated!
 
The trek to the summit of Mt Toubkal will be tough, and will certainly challenge you - the terrain is demanding and will involve scrambling over boulders and negotiating scree - but don't worry; the expert mountain guides are on hand to support you and no previous trek experience is necessary. Reaching the top of North Africa and looking across the savannah and mountains will be a feeling never to be forgotten ... we assure you! You then end your challenge with a special celebratory dinner in Marrakech - a city full of charm, exotic delights and fantastic bargains!

Itinerary:

Day 1 - You depart the UK for our flight to Marrakech. You then transfer to your hotel and hear a briefing about the challenge ahead.
 
Day 2 - Transfer to Imlil (1,740m) and trek to Nelter Hut (3,210m) - the base for the next 2 nights.
 
Day 3 - Summit day! Trek from Nelter Hut to summit (4,167m), then return triumphant back to Nelter Hut for well deserved rest.
 
Day 4 - Trek from Nelter Hut to Aroumd, then take transfer to Marrakech. Celebratory dinner and dancing this evening!
 
Day 5 - Transfer to airport for flight to UK, arriving same day.
