West of Ireland Women's Mini Marathon May 2011

The 10 km run and walk is being co-organised by the estern People and Mayo sports Partnership and, whilst the presence of elite runners will provide the race with a strong competitive element, central to the Women's Mini Marathon will be the opportunity for all West of Ireland charities to raise much-needed funds for their respective organisations. 
 
Starting and Finishing at the Mall this 10K run, jog, walk is for women of all abilities / ages and promises to be a huge social and fun occasion.

Entry

The cost of entering the mini marathon is just €20 and each participant will receive a souvenir medal as well as a goody bag for the first 1000 entries.

If you take things slowly. Start out by following the Training Schedule for the mini marathon that is on this website or on the Western People, Start at week 1 or 2 and follow on from there. Remember this is not a race and you will be able to walk, jog or run it at your pace.
