The 11th annual Stockholm Half Marathon will be staged on Saturday 17 September 2011. This will be a race to remember!
• 21.1 kilometres through central Stockholm.
• Start at the Royal Palace, finish at the city park "Kungsträdgården".
• First class service for all the participants.

The Start 

The start is at 16:00 at the bridge ”Strömbron” just outside the Royal Castle.

The weather

The average temperature in Stockholm in the afternoons during the third week of September is 13° C. The humidity is around 50 per cent.
 

Experience Stockholm

The Stockholm Half Marathon is run on an inspiring course through the central districts of Stockholm; Norrmalm, Vasastan, Kungsholmen, the Old Town and Södermalm.
During the race you will pass many of Stockholm’s most famous landmarks and buildings; Karlberg's Castle, the City Hall, the Royal Palace, the Swedish Parliament and the Royal Opera House. 
The difference between the highest and the lowest point of the course is 27 metres.
The distance is 21,098 metres.
 

Entry

• Entry fee is EUR 47.
• Deadline for entries: 10 August 2011.
• A maximum of 13,500 entries will be accepted. If 13,500 runners have entered earlier than 10 August the registration will close at that date.
• You enter and pay by credit card on the internet.
• When you have entered you will get an e-mail confirming your entry.
• Race information will be sent by post to all runners in mid August 2011.
• Your entry is personal and can not be transferred to another runner.
 

Maximum running time is 2:45

The maximum time to finish the Stockholm Half Marathon is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
 

Minimum age 18 years old

Runners must be born 1993 or earlier.
 

Family Festival in "Kungsträdgården"

Everyone - participants, supporters and spectators - will enjoy the Stockholm Half Marathon before, during and after the race. Our sponsors will invite the whole family to a festival at the finish in "Kungsträdgården" on 17 September.
