Application Instructions When will the application be available?
The application for the 2011 NYC Half-Marathon is open now. [Register] [Printable Application] Who can apply? Anyone who will be 12 or older on Sunday, March 20, 2011, may apply for entry. If you are between the ages of 12 and 17, you must apply with a paper application (online applications will not be accepted) and have a parent or guardian present at number pickup. A parent or guardian must also sign a waiver of liability at that time. Only one application per person, please. Any fees processed due to individuals submitting duplicate applications are non-refundable.
What is the cancellation policy? Once a runner have been accepted into the race, they cannot cancel. Entries cannot be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred, nor is it deferrable, and entry fees are non-refundable, regardless of the reason or circumstances.
Race Number Pickup Entrants are required to pick up their race numbers and participant shirt (sizes subject to availability) in advance. Runners must bring a copy of their race confirmation (printed from the confirmation e-mail or profile page) and photo ID. Materials may be picked up at the NYC Half-Marathon Expo, location TBD, on:
