Clare Burren Marathon Challange May 2011

 

Venue:         Burren, Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare, Ireland
Date:            21 May 2011
Distance:     26.2 miles (Full Marathon)
                     13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
                     6 miles (Mini Marathon)
 
Enjoy some of Europe's most unique landscapes and see the Riches of the Burren in Bloom. This is a road and cross country event with a choice of full, half or mini marathon taking walkers, joggers or runners across the Burren.
 
All three challenges start in Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare at 9am, and all three taking you on and off road to the finish line on The Pier at Ballyvaughan.
 

Entry

The entry fee is €25 and it covers:
  • Race Times for all participants over 16yrs
  • Parking
  • Race entry
  • Water, refreshments and aid stations along the routes
  • Finishers T–shirt
  • Finishers medal
  • Finishers certificate
  • Soup and a roll served after you finish your challenge in Logue’s Lodge.

The entries CLOSE on May 10th.

There are age limits of over 16 years on the full and half routes.

Please note: you'll have to get to the start line by 8.30am. All the events start together at exactly 9am on the pier at Ballyvaughan, so allow enough time to get through the crowds and the traffic. Some road closures will be in operation.
