Don't miss out on this year's Junior Ireland Run – a 2.5km race for youngsters of all abilities aged from 8 to 15 Represent your Province or just run for yourself in what’s sure to be another cracking event. In 2008 hundreds of children took part with RTE's The Den filming competitors as they battled it out to see which Province in Ireland had the fastest and fittest junior runners

The event is open to anyone and not just those of you who run for your school or local club The Junior race is followed by the Great Ireland Run, which is open to anyone aged over 15 – so why not make it a family day out? To Find out more visit the main Great Ireland Run site
