There are many in the community that cannot afford to give up their time to travel to Moldova to work directly with the children as they have businesses to run and commitments at home and yet they still see the real need of giving something back to these children. You can get involved via our corporate sponsorship programme. Our work provides businesses a way to give back to those less fortunate, a way of using the Celtic tiger to provide for children who have nothing.

Companies can get involved in a whole host of ways:

Fundraising Dinners:

You can take tables or sponsor auction items at our bi-annual fundraising dinners. These are nights full of enjoyment whereby companies sponsor a table for 10 with great entertainment, great food and a superb charity auction.

Individual Projects

You can sponsor individual projects in Moldova. For example Jury's Doyle Hotels sponsored a beautiful play park based on Dublin Zoo. It provides the children with endless hours of
fun and enjoyment. Peugeot Ireland provided an expert people carrier in 2002. The Corrs donated a Landrover Defender and the family and friends of the late Siobhan Heinl held a fundraising dinner and donated a Toyota Land Cruiser that acts as the orphanage ambulance to transport sick children to receive hospital treatment in Chisinau.

There are many projects waiting to be started that need your help.

These are just ideas and there are many more besides, if you can help in any way please do not hesitate to contact us moldova@ireland.com

Village of Hope:

We are embarking on a new building project shortly that may appeal to companies and individuals alike. We must provide for the children's future. At present the children once they turn 18 years of age are at very real risk of being moved to an adult psychiatric institution for the remainder of their lives - regardless of their condition.

We want to build small group homes that will provide alternate supervised accommodation whilst training the girls in life skills to allow them to be reintegrated back into society. The first stage of this programme is underway with the children receiving formal education for the first time. Architects are drawing up the plans for the "Village of Hope" and already 2 of the 10 houses planned have been sponsored by Irish Companies. Can your company provide a home for children who have none? "

Direct Donations:

OutReach Moldova is a fully registered charity and all monies raised go directly towards the welfare of the children. In the case of individual donations of Euro 250 or more we can reclaim the tax paid from the revenue. Corporate donations can avail of tax rebates also.
